And, it doesn't matter what time of year — the picture below was taken in December 2018 from the Juliette balcony.

The fully adjustable heating ensures you can be as warm as toast when gazing out.

The first tee is approximately 150 metres from the living room window.

The corner location also means the fully equipped marble-topped kitchen with double-aspect windows is non-intrusive, yet within the spacious open-plan living area.

And so to bed. Both bedrooms have bathrooms. The beds in both bedrooms either zip together to provide a truly king sized double or can be unzipped and used as singles.

Both bedrooms have marble-topped bathrooms. The master bedroom has a bath with shower over. The second bedroom has a large shower cubicle.

Glengarry

You may wonder why we called our holiday home Glengarry. It's not, as you might reasonably assume, after the glengarry bonnet — a traditional Scots cap made of thick-milled woollen material, decorated with a toorie on top, frequently a rosette cockade on the left side, and with ribbons hanging down behind normally worn as part of Scottish military or civilian Highland dress.

Actually, Susy's maiden name is MacDonell and Invergarry castle, which lies between Loch Ness and Loch Lochy was the seat of the Chiefs of the MacDonells of Glengarry, a powerful branch of the Clan MacDonald. We have lived in the Highlands for over 30 years. Our home is on the Black Isle approximately 50 miles south of Brora. We love coming to Brora and at some point are likely to take up residence. So book now, before it's too late!
